The Pre-owned Auto Webmanager is a Web application for used car dealerships. The application includes an easy-to-use Administrative interface where managers can upload information and pictures of pre-owned vehicles for sale on the lot. The user interface lists all vehicles in each available category (for example, cars, trucks, SUV's, etc.), sorted by price or make. The application can be integrated with an existing Website. Best of all, we know the secrets to getting search engines to index the listings, meaning potential customers who don't live in the immediate area and have not heard of your dealership can easily find the cars you have for sale.
How it works
Information about each pre-owned vehicle is collected by a manager or sales agent (the administrator) and entered in a simple Web form. Data like make and model, and options like air conditioning, ABS, alloy wheels, etc. are easily added along with 4 pictures of the vehicle (front, back, side, interior). The administrator can also include a short description of the vehicle and a stock number. Administrators can also choose whether pricing should be available to the public, and delete vehicles that have already been sold. Vehicles can be linked with a particular sales associate, if desired.
Customers who visit the Website can choose to list pre-owned vehicles in a particular category (cars, trucks, SUV's, etc.). Immediate results are displayed with the make, model, price (if applicable) and short description. Customers can view more information and pictures of any vehicles they're interested in by clicking a 'read more' link. Doing so will take the customer to a page with all the specific information about the vehicle that they've chosen. This page also shows the vehicle stock number and sales associate (if specified). If a customer contacts you for further information, they'll be able to ask to speak to a particular person, and with the stock number there will be no doubt which vehicle the customer is interested in.
For those busy dealerships where managers or sales associates don't have time to keep the Web inventory updated, OVTG can provide this service. Pricing
OVTG will license the use of the Pre-owned Auto Webmanager application for the following price options:
Hosting of just the Webmanager application - $50/month
Hosting of an entire dealership site and the Webmanager application - $65/month
The licensing fee is paid monthly and covers the following:
registration of a unique domain name for the dealership (if required)
one month of Web hosting
email addresses for each manager and sales associate (if entire site is hosted)
nightly backups of the pre-owned auto database
daily statistics on Website usage
There is a $250 setup fee that covers creating a look-and-feel for the Website, or for integrating an existing dealership Website with the Pre-owned Auto Webmanager application.
